This organization is led and was founded Geneva Vanderhorst. Its mission is to encourage and develop an interest in high school students to attend college or a university.

Why is Kiwanis involved in this year's festival? It's a natural attachment to the purpose of the event and a fundraiser for the club. Greater South Cobb Kiwanians endeavor to bring hope to our neighbors and wish to continue helping kids thrive! With programs, like Terrific Kids, Builder's Club, Read Across America, the STING College Tour and Key Club, our organization focuses on community initiatives and children-centered projects that strive to uplift local children by fostering growth, leadership and empowerment for a brighter future. If one member suffers so does everyone else.

"Serving Our Children & Community" is our slogan. The Greater South Cobb Kiwanis Club also is dedicated to serving the local community through various outreach efforts in partnership with other non-profits and fundraising projects. As a local chapter of Kiwanis International, an organization serving children and causes internationally for over 100 years, our group has been instrumental in helping to eliminate neonatal and maternal tetanus.

Cobb Solicitor General Office
The goal of the Solicitor General's office is to ensure the public's safety, the defendant's accountability, advocate for crime victims and offer support and assistance throughout the Court process.
We are the local county chapter of the Democratic Party, chartered under Article VII of the Democratic Party of Georgia (DPG) Charter.
The Cobb County Democratic Party is charged with countywide responsibility for the affairs of the Party.
Our duties include:

Elect DPG State Committee members

Promote development of Party organizations and activities

Seek and encourage qualified candidates for public office

Support Democratic nominees

Perform such primary and election functions as are required by law

Maintain appropriate records

Promote and add logistical support to the State Affirmative Action Program

Raise funds for the above purposes

Perform such other duties as may be required by the State Committee
The Democratic National Committee (DNC) is the formal governing body for the United States Democratic Party of which we, the Cobb County Democratic Party, are affiliated through the DPG. Several core beliefs tie our party together. Democrats believe that we’re greater together than we are on our own – that this country succeeds when everyone gets a fair shot, everyone does their fair share, and everyone plays by the same rules. Our party is focused on building an economy that lifts up all Americans,
not just those at the top.

My team and I are diligently and constantly working together, forming the plans and path for turning Cobb red. Without a full week under our belts, we are tasked with forming a strategy of getting out the vote in House District 34. We had a wonderful win with the election of Devan Seabaugh as the new HD34 Legislator! He will represent Cobb well going forward at the Gold Dome!
